Hello,

My name is Ludwig and I live in a town called Porto Alto in the sunny country of Portugal.

In this blog I'll share with you my passion and love for orchids. This is my hobby, I grow orchids for fun and I'm not a professional plant/flower person. I started liking and enjoying orchids from the first one I bought, a simple supermarket pink Phalaenopsis orchid for mothers day!

That was back in 2023 and since then I've learned a lot, I've made some mistakes in caring for them but the passion is still growing strong! So, if you are new to orchids or already have and care for some, sit back, grab a nice hot or cold drink and enjoy this blog.
